FG receives title documents on Ijebu-Ode ICD project site

The Executive Secretary/ CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Dr. Akutah Pius, MON, las week, joined Federal Government’s delegation led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, Mr. Oloruntola Olufemi, who represented the Minister, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, at the official handover of the project site and title documents covering 130 hectares of land to the Federal Government.

This development marks a significant step in the partnership to deliver the Ijebu-Ode Inland Dry Port Project, strategically located along the Epe–Mojoda Expressway in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
When completed, the project will ensure the seamless movement of cargoes for shippers in the hinterland, positioning Ogun State as an industrial hub that will not only serve the state but also extend economic benefits to neighbouring states across the South-West.
