The 8th edition of the 2024 Annual General Meeting AGM and Conference of the Guild of Corporate Publishers GOCOP, which took off in Lokoja, capital of Kogi State, Nigeria’s Confluence State, yesterday, has entered its second day today. The event is holding at the Reverton Hotel, 1/5 Kunama Crescent, GRA Lokoja.

The two-day event tagged Lokoja’24, which took off on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 is chaired by Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Spain, Alhaji Yusuf Yaro Mamman, according to the 2024 Conference Planning Committee chairman, Danlami Nmodu, mni.

The AGM held yesterday while the Conference kicked off at 10 am, today, Thursday, October 3, 2024. Almost all Publishers and CEOs of Corporate Online outfits in Nigeria are present at the event.

The theme of the 8th annual conference is: “Nigeria: Tackling Insecurity, Power Deficit, and Transitioning to Digital Economy.”
