Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Mohammed Bello –Koko has commended the out-going Commissioner of Police, Port Authority Police Command, Western Command, Jonathan Towuru for his contributions towards securing the ports while holding sway.

The ex-CP has already been promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG and has since been posted to head Zone “6”, Calabar.

The MD also received the new Commissioner; CP Umar Sanda, who takes over from AIG Towuru both at the Marina, Lagos, headquarters of the NPA. Corporate Headquarters in Lagos 

Bello-Koko noted that the importance of security at the nation’s seaports cannot be over-emphasised and charged the new CP to do everything in his powers to ensure security at the nation seaports and related facilities.
