The Nigerian Communications Commission NCC has given all Licensed Operators up to January 9, 2025 to submit their updated contact information details or face severe sanctions.

The Commission also directed all licensees to update any changes to their contact information details within seven days of the occurrence of the changes.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs, Dr. Reuben Mouka, these requirements had become urgent and essential for effective regulatory oversight and seamless communication with licensees.

The statement also disclosed that the licensees are required to update the following information via the NCC’s eServices platform at https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng by January 9, 2025. They include: physical address, principal place of business, including postcode, geographic coordinates, and landmarks.

Others include mailing address; if different from the physical address, email addresses, current and active email contacts, telephone numbers, updated and reachable contact numbers, contact personnel details including names and details of the relevant personnel.

“The NCC therefore warns that failure to provide accurate and locatable physical address details within the stipulated time may result in appropriate sanctions”, the statement also read in part.
