The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr. Dayo Mobereola has extended warm appreciation and felicitations to the maritime stakeholders in the country on the occasion of the New Year, 2026.

In a message personally signed by the DG, he expressed deep appreciation to the stakeholders for their cooperation in the outgone 2025, which he described as ‘momentous’, which led to the successes recorded in the maritime industry within the year.

The message reads in part: “On behalf of myself, my family, and the Management and Staff of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, I extend my warmest greetings to you and your family.

“I sincerely appreciate your cooperation, partnership, and steadfast support throughout the past year. Your contributions have been instrumental to the progress recorded across Nigeria’s maritime sector, and I look forward to even stronger collaboration in the year ahead.

“The year 2025 was a momentous one for Nigeria’s maritime industry, marked by significant achievements and renewed international confidence.

“As we look forward to 2026, it is our firm resolve to consolidate on these gains and deliver even greater outcomes for the sector and the nation at large. I am confident that, working together, we will make this possible.

“Once again, on behalf of my family and the entire Team NIMASA, I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, productive, and fulfilling Year 2026.
