The Senior Staff Association of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council NSC, has honoured the Executive Secretary/CEO of the Council, Dr. Akutah Pius, with its prestigious Merit Award in recognition of his sterling performance as the CEO of the Council.

Dr Akutah showcases the Award

According to a statement by the Union, the Award, which also highlights his dedication to improving the well-being of members of staff as well as his outstanding leadership qualities.

Speaking shortly after receiving the Award, Dr. Akutah expressed appreciation for the symbiotic relationship with the NSC’s union, noting that the staffers are pivotal in actualising the Council’s regulatory mandate.

Earlier, the President of the Senior Staff Association of the Council, Comrade Yakubu Mukthar, said the essence of their visit to the CEO was to commemorate with him his two years in office.

Comrade Mukthar expressed the Union’s readiness to support the Council’s boss in meeting his aspirations for the NSC.
