The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col. Hameed Ali rtd. has approved a major cabinet reshuffle among the middle class officers, especially at the command level, which has led to the redeployment of some Cohttps://www.channelstv.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Hameed-Ali-customs.jpgmptroller.

Under the new dispensation, Comptroller Dera Nnadi mni, the Enforcement guru, who recently graduated from the Nigeria Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies NIPSS would now head the Seme Border Command while Comptroller Timi Bomodi, who was until now, the National Public Relations Officer of the service takes over at the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal in Apapa, Lagos.

Similarly, Comptroller Auwal Mohammed formerly of Port Harcourt Area 1 Command takes over as the new Customs Area Controller in charge of Apapa Area 1 from the outgoing Comptroller Yusuf Ibrahim, who now moves to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Command, Lagos as the new controller.

Also affected in the new disposition include Comptroller O.A Salefu, who moves to the Western Marine Command in Lagos while Comptroller A.M Ibrahim for moves to Ports and Terminal Multiservices Limited PTML Terminal, also in Lagos.

Others affected include Comptroller C.D. Wada, who now heads Port Harcourt Area1 Command, while M.I. .Jalo heads Federal Operations Unit Zone B., even as Comptroller B. Mohammed is to head the Lillypond Command in Lagos.

When contacted, Comptroller Bomodi confirmed the new development.

All the new postings are with immediate effect, as the newly redeployed officers are expected to resume at their new places of assignment Monday, January 23, 2023.
