Mrs. Josephine Moltok

Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria, MARAN has congratulated the newly appointed General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Mrs. Josephine Moltok on her recent appointment.

In a statement, the association also commended the Managing Director of NPA, Mr. Mohammed Bello- Koko and his management team for appointing a core professional to head the department, which primarily interfaces with the media.

The statement reads in part: “Moltok’s appointment is a good development. She will bring her wealth of experience as a former image maker at Tin Can Island Port and later Western Zonal Office, Apapa, Lagos to bear on her new job.

“We want to assure you of our unalloyed support and ever ready to work with you in projecting NPA in positive lights. We are indeed delighted with your appointment.”

Recall that Mrs. Moltok, who is well grounded in Corporate Communications and Media Relations, has worked in the Public Relations units of most seaport locations across the country.

She also had a stint at the London office of the NPA, after which she was reassigned to the Abuja office from where she was recently posted to the Marina, Lagos headquarters of the NPA to head the department.
