Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi flanked on the left by the Chief Executive Officer of the Lekki Free Port Terminal LFT, Denrick Moos and on the right by the General Manager/Head of Government Relations of LFT, Fubara Awanta shortly after a discussion with the LFT team led by the CEO in Lagos.

Nigeria’s Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi on July 10, 2021 visited the Lekki Port to assess the project overview, construction status and operational readiness of the port domiciled within the Lagos Free Zone, Lagos State, which is on a 55.48per cent completion in view of the progress report.

The Minister expressed satisfaction with the level of progress and preparedness of the port and also pledged Federal Government’s continued support for the project.

Chief Executive Officer of the Lekki Freeport Port Terminal LFT, Denrick Moos, who led the team thanked the Minister for the visit.

Lekki Freeport Terminal is a business entity of CMA CGM Group. The LFT is currently the only operator of with 45- year sub-concession agreement from Lekki Port, situated in Lagos Free Zone to operate the container terminal located at the Lekki Deep Seaport in Lagos Nigeria.
