NNPCL, NLNG deepen gas supply synergy, decarbonisation, talent exchange

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited NNPC Ltd. and the NLNG have resolved to deepen their existing synergy with a view strengthening strategies for gas supply, decarbonisation and talent exchange in the country’s oil and gas sector.
Speaking Monday, in Abuja when he played host to a team from the NLNG on a working visit, the newly appointed Group CEO of NNPC Ltd., Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, noted that both organisations have had a long history of partnership and collaboration, assuring that the relationship would be made stronger under his watch at the NNPC Ltd.

The NLNG delegation was led by its Managing Director/CEO, Dr. Philip Mshelbila.
The NNPC Ltd., GCEO described the NLNG as a strategic business for Nigeria, which shares NNPC Ltd’s vision of ensuring energy access for all Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the NLNG MD/CEO, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, congratulated the NNPC Ltd’s, GCEO and his team, expressing confidence in their ability to advance Nigeria’s energy sector. Both parties committed to deepening discussions on strategies for gas supply, decarbonisation and talent exchange to boost the growth of the industry.
The NLNG delegation included the MD/CEO, Dr. Philip Mshelbila, Deputy MD, Olakunle Osobu, General Manager, External Relations & Sustainable Development, Dr. Sophia Horsfall, General Counsel/Company Secretary, Akachukwu Nwokedi, Manager, Govt Relations & Regulatory Compliance, Godson Dienye, Technical Assistant to the MD, Sulaimon Adebayo, Senior Govt Relations Advisor, Nengi Amadi and Senior Govt Relations Advisor, Rufai Lawal.
