NPA set to partner Finland on port development

The Nigerian Ports Authority has said it is willing to partner the Government of Finland in its quest to develop the country’s seaports and make them globally competitive.
Managing Director of the authority, Mohammed Bello-Koko, who played host to the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Ms. Leena Pylvanainen, who was on a working visit to the NPA.
The Ambassador had in her opening remarks, said she was in NPA to further seek the deepening of the already existing relationship between Nigeria and the Finland.
Recall that the NPA MD, whose appointment was confirmed by President Muhammadu Buhari, had assured that the management under his watch would pay specific attention to automating the port processes with a view to making the seaports efficient and globally competitive.
