Minister of Transport, Mu’azu Sambo

The Minister of Transport, Mu’azu Sambo has joined other well -meaning Nigerians to pay glowing tributes to the fallen heroes, comprising officers and men of the Armed Forces for their gallantry and bravery as the country marks the 2023 Armed Forces and Remembrance Day, which is celebrated every January 15.

Special Assistant (Media) to the Minister, Dr. Sam Idiagbonya in a message, described the fallen soldiers as heroes, who paid the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect the country’s sovereignty.

 The Minister said: “The country remembers and honours them for their gallantry and bravery, the ideals for which they laboured will be upheld.

“This day we salute the gallantry and bravery of our men and women who paid the ultimate price for the safety of our fatherland. Today we remember them and honour them. The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain”.
