The All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA candidate for the Nnewi North/Nnewi South/Ekwusigo Federal Constituency for the just concluded National Assembly elections, Iju Tony Nwabunike, has expressed his deep appreciation to his teeming constituency members and supporters including maritime stakeholders for their support and prayers through the entire process.

Nwabunike, who doubles as National President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents ANLCA, in a statement signed by himself, noted that despite the unfavourable outcome of the election, he felt deeply honoured and a sense of appreciation not only to his immediate constituency in Anambra State but also to his professional colleagues and other maritime stakeholders.

According to him, the extent he reached in the process of the elections could not have been possible without the support, cooperation and prayers of his teeming supporters and maritime stakeholders, especially members of ANLCA.

The statement reads in part: “The Presidential and National Assembly elections may have come and gone, but I feel a sense of duty to say thank you to all of you who in one way or the other supported my ambition to be elected into the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the platform of APGA in the just concluded National Assembly elections held February 23, 2019.

“I am indeed very grateful to the Almighty GOD, for HIS care, love, abundant grace and utmost protection during this period of electoral process. My sincere gratitude also goes to  my campaign organisation; Tony Iju Campaign Organisation TICO, my media team which I consider the best, my constituents who believe in my legislative agenda and worked very hard to actualise it.

“My friends within and outside my federal constituency, especially maritime industry stakeholders, my immediate family and extended family members, I thank you all for your prayers, financial and moral supports, You are all wonderful and nice people, I am immensely grateful to all of you.
