As part of measures to strengthen professional standards and capacity within Nigeria’s freight forwarding and logistics sector in line with its mandate, the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria CRFFN, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the Institute of Export Operations and Management IEOM.

Registrar/CEO of the Council, Mr. Igwe Kingsley, who signed on behalf of the CRFFN on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Port Harcourt, said the partnership was in line with the Council’s capacity building initiatives in order to enthrone a regime of standardised and professional freight forwarding practice in the country.

It was further gathered that the collaboration will also enhance capacity building, improve industry standards, and promote continuous professional development across the freight forwarding and international trade value chain.

CRFFN and IEOM reaffirmed their commitment to a more competent, compliant, and globally competitive industry.
