The newly appointed Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Hon. Emmanuel Jime has officially resumed duty at the Abuja office of the council. He replaces immediate past CEO, Hassan Bello, who retired on June 20, 2021.

While receiving a handover note from the Director, Regulatory Services, Ms. Ifeoma Ezedinma, who has been on acting capacity, Jime promised to continue with ongoing reforms by the council with a view to making the nation’s seaports efficient and user-friendly.

Hon. Jime is a one- time Managing Director of the Nigerian Export Processing Zone Authority NEPZA.
