The Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, recently paid a working visit to the Inspector General of the Police, Mohammed Adamu in line with his crucial stakeholders’ engagement.

Part of the aim of the working visit was to seek the support and cooperation of the Police boss towards ridding the maritime industry of all forms crimes and illegality. The DG sought the support and cooperation of the Police Force, especially its marine unit in the efforts of NIMASA to make the maritime industry safe and secure for business.

The Police IG, while speaking during the visit, thanked the NIMASA-boss and expressed his willingness to partner the agency to rid the industry of all forms of crimes.

Recall that Dr. Jamoh took over the reins of the apex maritime regulatory agency on March 10, 2020, has just spent about 100 days in office.
