The Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Hadiza Bala Usman in company of other members of the management team played host to the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship NNS Beecroft, Commodore Bashir Mohammed, who paid a working visit to the authority.

The commander noted that the purpose of the visit was to familiarise with the management of the agency which is in line with the Navy’s engagement of critical stakeholders in the industry.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director, who assured the commander of NPA’s support and cooperation, noted that NPA is leaving no stone unturned in enhancing security at the ports.

She also assured the shipping community in the country that everything was being done to further fine tune the operations of its Electronic Call Up system for haulage trucks at the ports, also called ETO towards ensuring smooth operation of the seaports.
