The Nigerian Ports Authority NPA has restated its commitment towards partnering the West and Central African Security WeCAP in a bid to promoting security and general efficiency at the seaports within the West and Central African sub-region.

Managing Director of the NPA, Mohammed Bello Koko made this pledge when a WeCAP team paid a working visit to the corporate headquarters of the authority on Marina, Lagos, Monday.

Represented by the General Manager, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Engr. Olukayode Omiwole, the MD noted that the management under his watch on assumption of duty about six months ago, has taken steps to improve security for both vessels and cargo at the various nation’s seaports across all locations.
