Protesting airport workers have shut the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja to protest the proposed concession of the airport.

Recall that the Federal Government is currently working on plans to concession the nation’s two biggest and most viable airports, the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, the nation’s capital and the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, which is Nigeria’s commercial capital.

It was gathered that the protesting workers have shut the office complex of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria FAAN in a desperate bid to stop the proposed concession.
