The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria CRFFN, is currently rallying stakeholders in the shipping and logistics sector towards cleaning the country seaport access roads, as it led the Lagos Ports Corridor Clean-Up and Enforcement Exercise, held on May 14 and 15, 2026 in Lagos.
The exercise brought together key stakeholders committed to improving operations along the Apapa and Tin Can Island Ports’ corridors both in Lagos.
Led through the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council PEBEC, and the Ports and Customs Efficiency Committee PCEC, the exercise had active participation from the CRFFN, led by Registrar/CEO Kingsley Igwe, alongside the DG of PEBEC, Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu and other relevant stakeholders.
The exercise represents a unified push toward cleaner corridors, stronger compliance, smoother cargo movement, and improved port efficiency.
Stakeholders have argued that this unified approach would further reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to ease of doing business and trade facilitation.
