LASU honours Norrison Quakers SAN with essay competition

The Maritime Law Club of the Lagos State University LASU is honouring the Principal Partner, Jire & Greys Attorneys, Norrison Quakers SAN with its annual National Essay Competition.
The title of the 2022 edition of the essay is: ‘The Role of Fiscal Incentives in Revitalising the Blue Economy’, and it is part of the activities to mark the 2022 annual Law Week of the club scheduled for April.
A statement by the club says that for one to be eligible for the essay competition, he or she must be a law student from 200-500 level in a Nigerian University with a valid student identification card. Written essays must be submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format and a maximum of 2,500 words.
Part of the guideless also include that data resources must be from reputable and verifiable sources and that the written essay must be marked with the candidate’s full name as seen on the student’s identification card with the matriculation number.
The statement further reads in part: “Completed entries with the student’s identification card and social media handle must be submitted to the club on or before March, 29, 2022 while the annual Law week holds sometime in April.
“First prize is N80, 000 while second and third positions are N60, 000 and N40, 000 respectively, even as fourth -10th position would be awarded a certificate of participation.”
