The University of Lagos has said it is willing to partner the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency NIMASA in the area of advancing knowledge.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, who spoke during a courtesy to the agency’s headquarters in Apapa, Lagos, said the university has a wide range of programmes that could suit NIMASA’s knowledge advancement needs.

The Director General of the agency, Dr Bashir Jamoh, who led other top management staffers to receive the Vice Chancellor, assured that the agency was willing to go into such partnerships in line with its continued quest to build capacity.

The DG noted that an agency like NIMASA, whose core mandates include capacity building would always take advantage of opportunities that would help it enhance knowledge advancement and build capacity in the process.
